Going to keep this one short.
My wife worked late last night, so this morning was on me. Roman, breakfast, the whole bit. She needed the sleep more than I needed the early window, so the 5am didn't happen. Made it to the gym around 8:30 instead.
Stretched, got on the treadmill, didn't think about much. Sometimes the treadmill is fine, honestly. It was pouring outside — really coming down — so the box was the right call anyway.
5.63 miles, 55:03, 9:47 pace. Heart rate around 154. Easy effort, nothing to report from the workout itself, which is kind of the point of an easy day.
Wore the Nike Vomero 18s. Those are my easy day shoes most of the time — very comfy, durable, no notes. They just work.
Home now. Protein shake, then bed.
I use Ascent Native Fuel Whey, Vanilla Bean. 25g a scoop, no artificial sweeteners. I buy it from Costco honestly, but it's on Amazon if you want it shipped.

That's it. Easy day, done.
